Well, it’s almost here, and I find it somewhat of a downer. When you’re still a few weeks out from Macworld, there’s all kinds of crazy speculation going on and it seems like the sky’s the limit. What’s that? You heard that one of OS 10.5’s big secrets is that the Time Machine function is an actual time machine? Sweet — I’m guessing that it’s going to look just like "TARDIS":http://www.saleendssoon.com/search/tardis, only in white!

As we get closer to the actual event, the realization sets in, at least for me, that everything is not going to be nearly as exciting as we had hoped for. It never is. I mean, the time machine probably isn’t going to look anything like "TARDIS":http://www.saleendssoon.com/search/tardis. So, in the interest of making this a great Macworld for everyone, I’d like to present my predictions for next week’s event. Let’s forget about "iPhones":http://www.saleendssoon.com/search/iphone and tablet Macs, and all really focus on these predictions and debate them endlessly for the next 2 1/2 days. I’m sure it will have a positive effect on your outlook come Monday afternoon.
