Ahh...yes...the screen saver. One of those things that is often overlooked. Here are 10 (with links) that you may actually use. I have exhausted the web for the best and have listed them here.

I should first of all say that I don't really get much out of screen savers. They are one of those areas that I haven't really explored. I tried to get a fireplace one last Christmas, but damned if I'm gonna pay for one...I still haven't found a freeware version. (All of these are freeware and have been personally tested to insure that they work on 10.4.3 Tiger.)

I think I have actually had the RSS screen saver as the default since May. And it would probably still be like that if I wasn't recently faced with the issue of having to leave my Mac on all night instead of putting it to sleep - I have a friend in Canada who needs to download some seriously large copies of pictures from his wedding. Sure I could have put the monitor to sleep and left the machine running but I figured this would be a good time to do some research into the screen saver world and see if I could find some interesting ones.
